      Pant Braid process in FMD4

      Learn how to enter an order with pant braiding in FDM4. Note this method is only available in Holland.

      Follow this process when needing to add braiding to pants in Holland. This will route the product back to production for sewing before it ships to the customer.

      1. Enter the SKU in FDM4 on Style Entry tab
      2. Click QuickDesign > Add Art (No attachment necessary)
      3. Set the Method > Sew
      4. Set the Location > Pant Braid
      5. Set the Priced by > Sew
      6. Enter the braid colors as both the Design Name and Art Name (Example: BRAID: Royal/White)
      7. Save the Design and commit the quantity from Holland
      8. Go to Services > Uncheck “Proof Required”
      9. Review & Complete the order

      IMPORTANT: The production team will NOT see art notes.

      The production team will work off the order confirmation, which shows the Design and Art names, which will tell production which color braid to sew onto the pants.
