This article will walk through the process of updating a customer's account so that they show in Prevail.
If the account that is needing to order through the Prevail Uniform Builder is not showing up on their site, it means one of two things, see below.
Customer Class
This action can be done by the Rep, Account Manager, or Billing Analyst.
- Run Customer Master
- Search for the Customer by entering their Customer number, or changing the see name of the customer.
- Choose the customer that's being serviced.
- Select Edit in the top right.
- Within the tabs below, you will select Order Info and verify the Customer Class is set to SCHL or TM.
If Customer Class is showing something other than SCHL or TM, continue to step 6. - Delete the information in Customer Class so that field and type SCHL or TM. This depends on if it's an actual school or a booster club/team of some sort.
- Select Save at the top or bottom of this screen.
- This account will now appear in Prevail the day after these changes are made.
We do not provide all accounts in FDM4 to Prevail, we only allow their system to pull these two customer classes.
Sales ID
This action can only be done by a Billing Analyst or Account Manager.
- Run Customer Master
- Search for the Customer by entering their Customer number, or changing the see name of the customer.
- Choose the customer that's being serviced.
- Select Edit in the top right.
- Within the tabs below, select Order Info and verify that the Sales Rep is the correct ID.
- If it is incorrect, select the information in that field and delete.
- Type the correct Sales ID in that field.
**If this is a shared account, please make sure to go back after you place your order on Prevail and switch this back to the previous Sales ID.** - This account will now appear in Prevail the day after these changes are made.
