The process for updating these dates varies on the warehouse status and where the order is at in our process.
Order no longer 'On Backorder' (released from ABOM)
If the order is still 'On Backorder':
- Run Order Entry
- Select Edit Existing Order
- Navigate to the Main tab of the order
- Find the Planned Ship or In Hand date fields to update.
If the Main tab does not allow you to update the dates, you can find these dates in the Freight Tab under Freight Options.
- Save the changes and Review and Complete the order.
If the order is released from ABOM:
- Run Planned Shipments function in FDM4.
- Update the Search By drop down to Order Number.
- Type or Paste in the order number needing the dates updated on.
- Select the order so that it is highlighted.
- Click Update in the toolstrip.
- This will open the below box, make the necessary date changes to the order's dates and click Save.
- This will update the dates on the order accurately for the scheduler and for the Account Manager's when working open orders.
