How to use the Check Stock function in FDM4

This process will walk through how to use the Check Stock function to search for inventory.

  1. Run Check Stock 
           
  2. Use the Style number from Sales Deck or brief description on the item being inquired about and click the to search (don't click "Search"). 

    Example of searching by a brief description, without Sales Deck:


    If you search by description you will receive multiple results. This is pulling all data for items that have "Nike Legend" in it. Use your filter function to search the description column or other columns to help narrow your results. 


    Examples of searching Sales Deck for the style and taking that style number to FDM4: 
         
    1.  Using the function to search by;
      1. Style number -- Use Sales Deck to find the item description or item number to search in FDM4. 
      2. CST/C-Items -- Change the search drop down from Keyword to Description > Type in CST > change Records to 10k > Click Search. Use the button to find the correct Vendors CITEM number. 
      3. Generic Inquiry for something like a "Bag" --  Type in BAG (or item customer is inquiring about, less is more) > change Records to 10k > Click Search.
  3. If item comes in different colors, use the Color magnifying glass to find the appropriate color code. 
  4. The results will show for all Warehouses in FDM4. 
  5. If you have exhausted all options above and are still unable to find the item, send an item request form to items@game-one.com.
