How to use the Change Order function in FDM4

"Change Order" tool makes it super easy to make changes to the Reference Order Number, Exemption Numbers, Customer PO, Sales Rep ID, Activity, and Special Type.

If an order needs to have any of the following information updated, the FDM4 user will use "Change Order":

  • Reference Order Number
  • Exemption Numbers
  • Customer PO
  • Sales Rep ID
  • Activity
  • Special Type

To perform the above updates, follow the below steps:

  1. Run Change Order.
    **Pro Tip: Click the pin on the tab to pin this to your FDM4 favorites.
  2. Enter the Customer Number AND Order Number into the appropriate fields. 
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select the check box of whatever fields you need updated (you can select more than one).
  5. Type in the information you are wanting the order to be updated with.
  6. When updating an order and ALL child orders associated with the parent order need to be updated, make sure to select the check box "Update Activity for all Referenced orders".
  7. Click Update.
  8. The box at the bottom of the page will show the updates made to the order(s).
