How to swap the design on an order

Use these steps to change the design on an existing order that has not been proofed.

If the design needs to be updated on an order before it has been proofed by the art team, you can do so by editing the order and swapping the design.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Order Entry > Edit Existing Order
  2. Go to the Service tab and screenshot the pricing so you know how to match it if it changes. **This is important!
  3. Click Show Order Lines > Apply Design > Quick Design (if the design already exists, click the three dots to choose it from the library)
  4. When finished, click Swap Design 
  5. Go to the Service Tab again and update the pricing to match the original design, and ensure Proof Required is checked.
  6. Review & Complete the order.

The order will now go into a Needs Proof status for the art team. 

Should I click "Remove Design" before I apply a new one?

No! Just click Apply Design. Sometimes removing the design does not cancel the old proof.
