How to enter a Rush Order

Sales Reps and Sales Associates must follow the below process when a customer needs an order within two weeks. All quotes should be emailed to your Account Manager ONLY.

Important RUSH Terminology:

  • PLAN SHIP DATE: Is a system date that defaults 3-weeks from the order date or date it was converted from a quote. This is a necessary date for production teams and needs to be entered on the order and provided to your Account Manager.
  • IN HANDS DATE / TRUE MUST DATE (EW): Is a system date that the customer needs the order by. This date does not default or change like the Plan Ship Date. This should be the date the coach needs to get the garments to the team or a couple days before the event is taking place. The AM and other Team Members will do everything they can to get it completed by this date.

Rush Order Entry Process:

Reps/Sales Associates are responsible for accurate quote entry and emailing the quote to their Account Manager to be processed further as a rush.
  1. Run Order Entry and enter the Quote like normal. Be sure to include an In-Hands Date
  2. Leave a Non-Printable comment with the date the order must ship by and the date the customer must need this order by. If there is a specific decorator you want to do this order, please leave this in the comments with a reason as well. This will be taken into consideration when it's being approved.
  3. Send the quote confirmation to your assigned Account Manager

Pro Tip: Use the email function in the non-printable comment to email this. Less clicks to get it into an Outlook email.

From here the Account Manager will work on bringing this order to the Daily Deco Call to get it approved, released to an order, and to the customer in the time frame needed.

Blank Order from Vendor Inventory (Drop Ship)

Please leave Non-Printable comments on the order, and let your Account Manager know the order number.

Please keep in mind that the Vendor has ultimate discretion on what gets out their doors and when. We will try our best to get it in their hands as quickly as possible.
  1. Run Order Entry and submit order like normal, including an In-Hands Date. Leave Non-Printable comments on the order.
  2. Sales Rep MUST provide their Account Manager the order number and in-hand date.
  3. Account Manager, please verify that there are comments on the order.
  4. Account Manager, run Allocated Backorder Maintenance and purchase the blank product.
  5. Please keep in mind this does not guarantee a rush from the vendor. It is up to their discretion to have it shipped.
