While Royalties must be reported for all schools requiring them, certain orders may be exempt from paying royalties.
While Royalties must be reported for all schools requiring them, certain orders may be exempt from paying royalties. When entering a quote/order, you may notice a Royalties charge on the Services Tab. If the order you are entering is exempt from paying royalties, follow these steps:
- Click the Hamburger (next to Check Stock)
- Select Manage Royalty Exemptions
- Click Add
- Ensure the "Exempt from Royalties" box is checked and Save
- Close the window and the services screen should now reflect a zero Royalty Charge
