How to make an item active in a warehouse

Follow these steps to solve for "No O/E active item-warehouse record existing for destination warehouse" error.

NOTE: This process is only valid for ADMIN level access. 

When attempting to change a warehouse in order entry, if the style is not set to active in the destination warehouse, you may receive a message saying "No O/E active item-warehouse record existing for destination warehouse."

An admin can follow these steps to solve this issue:

  1. Launch Item Master and search for the style number
  2. Click Warehouse from the toolstrip
  3. Select the destination warehouse and choose Edit
  4. Check the box next to "O/E Active" and Save

The item can now be transferred to the destination warehouse.
