How to locate the retail price and commission cost of an item

Learn how to understand FDM4 price levels.

When committing quantities of an item, the majority of items will display three separate prices. These prices represent:

  • Suggested Sell Price (40% markup on most items)
  • Retail Price
  • Commission Cost

These same levels are displayed in the Check Stock module:

If an item only shows one price instead of all three, it will be the Retail Price. An item's commission cost can be verified in two ways:

  • On the Style Entry Screen (while entering an order):
    • Click "Check Stock" (the 4th button above the size grid in the top screenshot)
    • Click the "Cost" tab (see bottom screenshot)
    • The price shown will be the item's commission cost
  • In the Check Stock Application (outside order entry):
    • Enter the item number and select the color
    • Enter a customer number (any customer number will work, including your sales rep ID account - Ex: 1111GO)
    • Click the "Cost" tab to display commission cost.
