How to clear a DMARG (Decoration Margin) hold

Decorated orders below 20% margin must be reviewed by the regional sales manager before they can process.

Per the 2025 Game One Sales Policy Guide, decorated orders below a 20% margin will be put on hold and must be reviewed and released by an RSM. This article walks through how to locate, review and release these orders for processing.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Deco Margin Hold Report from your email
  2. Locate the Order Number provided in the report and copy it to your clipboard. (CTRL + C on PC | Command + C on MAC)
  3. Log into FDM4 and launch Review Customer Orders
  4. Paste (CTRL + V on PC | Command + C on MAC) the order number in the search field
  5. Click the Gross Profit Calc button on the toolstrip* to review the order's gross profit margin. (*If Gross Profit Calc button is not exposed on your toolstrip, you can add it by following the steps in this article.)

  6. If the order's value needs to be adjusted, reach out to the sales rep to make the changes to the customer's price. Once it is above 20% it will drop from the report and automatically process.
  7. If the order is okay to release, click the Yellow Dot in the first column, which will launch you into a new program called Review On Hold Customer Orders.
  8. In the Action Column on the left, click the "No" button, which will turn to a "Yes"
  9. Click Release on the top right.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All decorated orders with a margin below 20% will go on hold. This means promo orders and quality replacement orders will go on hold and must be cleared using this process.

  • RSMs should review and release all regular orders (including promo).
  • Account Managers should ONLY clear the holds on quality replacement orders they enter. AMs should send any sales rep requests to clear holds to the RSM.
