Learn how to check the gross profit and commission while placing an order in FDM4.
To ensure you are hitting your margin goals, it is important to keep an eye on the Gross Profit of your orders. While entering an order in FDM4, you can check the gross profit by accessing it in the hamburger menu.
Follow these steps:
- Enter one or more items on an order
- Go to the Main Tab > Hamburger > Gross Profit
A new window will appear showing the Gross Profit calculations for the order you are working on.
Accessing Gross Profit from Review Customer Orders
If an order is already in the system, go to Review Customer Orders to view the Gross Profit and Commission.
After locating the order click Hamburger > Gross Profit.
The Gross Profit Calculator can be added to the Toolstrip by going to Hamburger > Manage Menu. Locate the Gross Profit Calc and click Toggle Both to allow access from both the Toolstrip and the Hamburger.
Viewing commission cost of for an item
- Run Check Stock
- Search for the style number and color
- Go to the Cost tab at the bottom. This will show you the commission cost in FDM4. (This number is intentionally set to 3.5% above the cost you'd see on the Vendor's B2B)
