How to change a design after art approval

CRRs, this is a step-by-step on how to update a design in FDM4 after art approval.

If the order is On Backorder we are still able to go in and update the art/design if the customer changes their mind last minute (Please try and avoid this).

If you see DecoProdStart or WMSDROP in change tracking, you will not be able to update the art/design without contacting the tier 1 or tier 3 decorators to have the order un-dropped first. FDM4 will not allow you in the order once it's dropped. If it is an order getting done at TGE, communicate changes to your art coordinators, in Edgeware and FDM4. 

  1. Run Order Entry.
  2. Click Edit Existing Order.
  3. Search for your order number that you are trying to update. 
  4. Within Style Entry, click on Show Order Lines.
  5. Click Remove Design.
  6. Click Apply Design.
  7. Using the Quick Design box or , select or input the design you are changing to. 
  8. Save and Complete the order. 
  9. Send an email to your art project coordinator, letting them know of the changes needing to be made to the order. (this is essential as the changes need to be communicated to the tier 1 or tier 3).
