How to create a new customer to FDM4
Use the Quick Add Customer feature (Sales Rep/CRR) or the Customer Master (Billing Analyst) to create a new customer.
This article will cover two ways of creating a new customer. Please refer to the method based on your permissions.
Quick Add Method (for Sales Reps/CRRs)

Create a New Customer using the Quick Add Method for Sales Reps/CRRs
If a customer is not in the System, follow these steps:
- At Order Entry, click the Quick Add Customer button (people icon)
- Refer to the screenshot below on what fields are required.
NOTE: If adding a school customer, do not fill in contact information. Contact info is stored at the Address No. level, which can be set up and saved when placing an order for a specific Sport. If a non-school customer, then add contact info in the space provided above. - Once complete, click Save and the system will prompt you with the following message:
This message is asking if you wish to set up the standard list of Address Numbers (Sports/Activities) for the new customer.- If adding a school customer, click YES.
- If adding a non-school customer, click NO.
- The customer is now set up as a cash customer. If the customer wishes to establish terms with Game One, they must fill out a credit application and submit it to your billing analyst.
Create a New Customer using the Customer Master for Billing Analysts
Billing Analysts can create a new customer from the Customer Master function.
- Open Customer Master and click Add.
- Fill out the required information shown in red below.
- Click on the Account Info tab and add the Center (OD/LK/CL/BZ) based on where the sales rep is located.
- Click on the Order Info tab and set the Sales Rep number.
- When complete hit Save.
- The system will prompt you to create the Standard Ship To Addresses (the standard sport/activity list).
- If adding a school customer, click YES.
- If adding a non-school customer, click NO.
Additional customization can be made at the Customer Master level, including Changing Terms, Custom Billing Settings and Forms Defaults.
