How to add a comment at Customer Master level

A comment can be added at the account level. It will allow a comment to appear on each order, quote, and invoice without having to type a comment for each order. Examples may include; Buy Board numbers, TIPPs info, ASP information, etc.

  1. Run Customer Master
  2. Search for the customer number you are wanting to add the comment to (remember you can utilize the magnifying glass to search by name).
  3. With the customer you are wanting to add a comment to their account, selected/highlighted, use the Hamburger Menu to access the Comments menu. 
  4. Click the Add button to add a comment. 

    1. Invoice comment, will allow these comments to appear on each orders invoice that is created. (Things to include on here would be any information the customer would like to see on their invoices. Some like to see Buy Board numbers, TIPPs Info, etc.)
    2. Non-printable comment, will allow the comment on the account for any internal communication. (Same as when entering a comment for purchasing, accounting, etc.)
    3. Order comment, will allow the comment to appear on the order confirmation for the coach. 
  5. Save the comment and close out from the customer master. This will be a comment that sticks within the account. 

This will NOT update any orders already in the system. It will only be an available comment on future orders.
